DEFTONES DIAMOND EYES TOUR MANILA 2011

Deftones, one of my favorite bands off all time will rock again Manila on May 26, 2013 at the World Trade Center. The show is part of their Koi No Yokan Album Tour 2013. Koi No Yokan, named after Japanese Proverbs "Promise of Love" is the band's seventh studio album that was released November 2013.

I am really excited to watch them again live. But for now, I need to save money for the VIP ticket. I actually skipped watching Bloc Party concert last March 22 for additional funds.

Let's go back two years ago with my account of Deftones: Diamond Eyes Tour Manila 2011 originally posted February 2011.

Never in my mind that one of my favorite bands, Deftones will go here to have a concert. Thanks to Splintr.com for bringing them here last February 12, 2011.

I didn't think twice on buying the VIP ticket because I know that this is gonna be a once in a lifetime experience. I actually bought my on the first three days when the tickets were on sale. So, imagine how long my ticket slept in my dry box before the concert date.

I was worried the day before the concert because I don't have a camera that is allowable inside the venue (DSLR camera is not allowed inside unless you have a photo pass). Thank goodness to my friend Ferdz Decena for letting me borrow his Olympus E-PL1 with 20mm 1.7 pancake lens.

I arrived at the venue at around 5:30pm. I wasn't surprised that there were already a lot of fans waiting outside. I also met new friends at the venue and they're from Malaysia. How cool is that?

As for the set list, Deftones performed 25 kick ass songs. The band only played 24 in Jakarta (Feb 8) and Tokyo (Feb 10)
