PERYODIKO AT 19 EAST

I wanted to watch the production of Peryodiko (with Malay, Yosha and Barbie Almalbis) at 19 East for a long time but due to my day job and accessibility to the venue, it never happens. A gig at 19 East that I don’t want to miss finally came, Pedicab + Peso Movement + Peryodiko last October 9. Well, I still haven’t recovered from that Peso Movement + Peryodiko gig last month in 70’s Bistro.

After the gig, I said Hello to Japs, vocalist and guitarist of Peso Movement. He replied “Pare! Nangyari na itong 19 East gig na pinag-uusapan natin.” I remember chatting with him regarding gig venues with good sound and lighting system. We unanimously agreed on 1 venue, 19 East. I’ve only been here once and was blown away, the owner/s really invested on equipment. The only setback is that the place is hard to reach for commuters like me. I don’t have a car and I live in Manila. Good thing that my 2 good friends also want to watch that night. It will be a mortal sin for music lovers like us to miss that gig; Pedicab + Peso Movement + Peryodiko at 19 East for a door charge of only Php 150.

DEFTONES DIAMOND EYES TOUR MANILA 2011

 

Deftones, one of my favorite bands off all time will rock again Manila on May 26, 2013 at the World Trade Center. The show is part of their Koi No Yokan Album Tour 2013. Koi No Yokan, named after Japanese Proverbs "Promise of Love" is the band's seventh studio album that was released November 2013.

I am really excited to watch them again live. But for now, I need to save money for the VIP ticket. I actually skipped watching Bloc Party concert last March 22 for additional funds.
